Building Envelope & Structural Integration
The renovation began with a comprehensive strip-out to facilitate a complete renewal of the building’s envelope. Key structural upgrades included:

Thermal Performance: Installation of high-performance insulated wall systems, floors, and ceilings to meet modern efficiency standards.

Roofing: A full replacement of the roofing system, ensuring long-term weatherproofing and structural integrity.

Internal Surfaces: All internal walls were replastered to a premium finish, providing a seamless foundation for the final aesthetic.

Mechanical, Electrical & Renewable Energy
A central objective of this project was the transition to sustainable, low-carbon heating. In collaboration with specialized partners, Krana Construction oversaw:

Renewable Heating: The integration of an Ashgrove Heat Pump system, moving the property away from traditional fossil fuels.
Hydronic Heating: A full-scale Underfloor Heating installation, expertly insulated and commissioned by Michael Crowe Heating and Plumbing.
System Overhaul: A comprehensive M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) package, including a total re-wire and a completely new plumbing network to support modern high-pressure demands.
Architectural Fit-Out & Interior Finishing
The final phase focused on high-caliber craftsmanship and interior detail. Our team managed the full internal fit-out, including:
Bespoke Joinery: Precision installation of premium flooring, architraves, and skirting.
Fine Finishes: Expert tiling and the installation of a custom-designed kitchen, tailored to the client’s functional requirements.
